Microsoft Day 2014 was celebrated yesterday at the BCS Computer City in Dhaka.
Microsoft Bangladesh arranged the event inaugurated by its Country Manager Sonia Bashir Kabir, says a press release. Speaking at the function, she spoke about Microsoft products and how important it is to “embrace genuine” in enabling local innovation to flourish.
“We, the people of Bangladesh, are going to pave the way for the future of technology in the country. We have a big population and we will do what is right for us as individuals and for our country.”
Kabir requested the visitors to become ambassadors of the “Be Genuine, Buy Genuine” initiative. She also shared with them how Microsoft is transforming as a company.
Anti-piracy manager Sharmin Chowdhury, other members of Microsoft Bangladesh team and tech lovers from all over the country participated in the event.
