Two staffs of Dhaka Electric Supply Company (Desco) have been electrocuted and two others seriously injured in capital's Uttara.
The deceased Al Mamun, alias Sumon, 30, and Md Abu Bakkar, 29.
The two injured are Awlad Hossain, 28, and Tayab Ali, 29. All of them were linemen and supervisor of Desco.
Sub-inspector Nannu Khan of Uttara West police station said the accident took place around 12 noon when the four were working on a faulty electric line on road 20, in sector 14.
Locals rushed them to Uttara Modern Medical College Hospital, and later shifted them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on duty doctors declared Sumon and Abu Bakkar dead on arrival.
