A case has been filed against 15 persons including Shibir leader Jabed over the attack on a BCL leader at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
SUST registrar Ishfakul Hossain filed the case with Jalalabad police station on Thursday afternoon.
On Wednesday, miscreants attacked Chhatra League leader Uttam Kumar Das, 30, a student of masters’ level of Social Welfare department and also former joint secretary of Sylhet city unit of Chhatra League with lethal weapon, leaving him critically injured.
The Chhatra League activists of SUST unit has been observing indefinite strike on the campus from Thursday morning protesting the attack.
