4 of a family found dead in Keraniganj
Police have recovered the bodies of four people, including two children, from a residence at kolakandi under South Keraniganj upazila in Dhaka.
Keraniganj police station Officer-in-Charge Jamal Uddin Mir confirmed about the recoveries of the bodies to the Dhaka Tribune.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has exchanged greetings with US President Barack Obama and appreciated him for his speech in the UN Climate Summit 2014 in New York.

The Chairman of one of the factions of National Democratic Party (NDP), Golam Mortuza, has claimed that the Awami League leaders were hatching “conspiracy” to break the BNP-led 20-party alliance.

6 get double life for raping RMG workers
A Chittagong court has awarded double rigorous imprisonments for life term to six persons for abducting and raping two RMG workers at North Koroldanga village under Boalkhali upazila of the district in 2006.
The judge of Chittagong Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal 1 M Rezaul Karim pronounced the verdict convicting Nezam Uddin, Kamal Uddin, Jahangir alias Jan-e-Alam, Moulana Nijam Uddin and Sumon of Anwara upazila of the district.
3 killed in Sirajganj road crash
At least three people, including a child, have been killed and 20 others injured as a passenger bus turned upside down on Hatikumrul-Banpara Highway in Sirajganj's Salanga upazila.
Of the deceased, the child has been identified as Sadia, 3.
Bangladesh tea prices edge up on strong demand
Tea prices in Bangladesh edged higher at the weekly auction on Tuesday, rising for a second week, due to strong demand from local buyers for quality leaf.
Bangladeshi tea fetched an average of Tk185.99($2.40) per kg at the auction on Tuesday, against Tk185 at the previous sale, an official at National Brokers Ltd said. The price for last week's auction was revised to Tk185 taka from Tk185.98.

India's low-cost mission to Mars successfully entered the red planet's orbit on Wednesday, crowning India as the first country to complete the trip at its maiden attempt.
The success of the Mars Orbiter Mission, lauded for its low price tag of $74m, will boost India's five-decade-old space programme that newly-elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to expand with better infrastructure and technology.
