A person, who sustained burn injuries in a fire incident at a fishing trawler, succumbed to his injuries at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
The victim is Md Liton, 30, son of Md Barek of Laxmipur.
CMCH police outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pankaj Baruea said Liton died at the burn and plastic surgery unit of the hospital early Tuesday.
He said Liton was admitted to the hospital with 90% burn injuries.
Earlier, two people were burnt alive and four others sustained injuries in a fire incident that broke out at FV Sanjida from engine blast in Fisherighat area on Saturday morning.
Later, the bodies of Nuruddin Bhuiyan, 45, and Nizamuddin, 42, were recovered from the trawler in the evening.
