The government has sent a district judge to compulsory retirement on Monday.
Ishtiak Hossain, judge of speedy trial tribunal of Barisal, was sent to retirement following complaints of misconduct under Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 1985, BSS reported.
In an order signed by law secretary, it was told that the decision was taken after consultation with the Supreme Court and with the approval of the President.
