In a major reshuffle in the civil administration, the government has appointed new chiefs to the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC), Information and Communication Technology (ICT)Directorate and Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate gazette notifications in this regard on Monday.
According to the notices, executive member to Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) Mizanur Rahman has been made the new BRTC boss.
Science and technology division's Additional Secretary AKM Asaduzzaman will head the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) , while education ministry's Additional Secretary Kazi Salahuddin Akbar has been transferred to the ICT Directorate.
The ministry has also transferred 10 additional secretaries to different positions on the same day.
