A devastating fire broke out at the shooting spot of film star Monowar Hossain Dipjal at Savar on Saturday afternoon.
Locals and fire service sources said the fire originated from the third floor of the building in the Fahim shooting spot owned by film actor Monwar Hossain Dipjal located at Rajfulbaria area under Tetuljhora union of Savar.
On information, the three units of fire service rushed to the scene and doused the fire after one and half hour long efforts. The local people also gave their hands to douse the fire.
Anwar Hossain, senior station officer of Savar fire service and civil defense told the Dhaka Tribune: “We reached the spot immediately and brought the fire under control within an one and half hour effort.”
However, the cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
