Three Bangladeshi nationals were injured as Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) shot at them at Baeurjhari border under Baliadangi upazila on Friday night.
The injured are Mister, 25, Sadekul, 25, and Tojammel, 25.
Family members of the injured said BSF members shot the three when they were returning with cattle from India illegally around 11:30pm.
Major Towhid, intelligence officer of 30 BGB Battalion, said a flag meeting would be held between the company commanders of BGB and BSF regarding the incident.
Police and BGB were trying to capture the injured cattle smugglers, BGB sources said.
