Rail communication between Dhaka and Chittagong has been hampered after a Chittagong-bound train collided with a bus at Fatehpur rail crossing of Feni sadar.
Ten passengers of the bus were injured in the accident that took place on Thursday night.
Sub-Inspector of Feni railway police Mujibur Rahman said: “The engine of the train has been derailed because of the collision around 10pm.”
A rescue train from Laksam was on the way to the spot to restore communication, he added.
“Train schedules are expected to be hampered because of the derailment,” the officials said.
