Two Bangladeshi workers have been killed in a fire in Saudi Arabia.
The deceased are Rabiul Islam and Iqbal Hossain, of Muradnagar of Comilla.
Bangladesh's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shahidul Islam on Thursday confirmed about the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
Md Mizanur Rahman, second secretary of Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh, told the Dhaka Tribune that the duo were sleeping at their workplace in a sofa factory when the fire broke out from electric short circuit around 12am on Wednesday (Saudi local time).
The family members of the victims will get compensation as they died in their workplace, he added.
The bodies are kept at Shomochi Hospital in Riyadh.
