Indigenous students in the district brought out a procession yesterday demanding their rights including the use of their mother tongue in primary education.
Under the banner of Pahari Chhatra Parishad (PCP), the students gathered in front of Press Club where the PCP vice-president Nittalal Chakma, Uting ha Marma and Azit spoke on the ocassion.
