Bangladesh Army emerged as the champions in the Walton Motorcycle 4th National Rugby Championship beating Narail 44-10 in the final held at the Paltan ground yesterday.
The winners strolled to victory as they led the first-half 30-10. Jashim Mollah of Narail was adjudged as the best player in the tournament.
Shibnath Roy, the secretary of National Sports Council, distributed the prizes as the chief guest. FM Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, the additional director of Walton, was also present as the special guest. Mousum Ali, the general secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Union and tournament director Saeed Ahmed and other federation officials also graced the occasion.
