“If we really want to make the dream come true, we should pay the income tax regularly,” he said. He termed tax paying a citizen’s responsibility to cooperate with the government in advancing the country’s development and services.
He said if one contributes to the country, one can expect better law and order situation, strong infrastructure and other necessary development in all sectors.
The fourth-time tax award receiver also pointed out that everyone should be friendly to paying tax while the government as well as the NBR should be more sincere in its efforts to collect tax from the citizens. The taxpayer also believes that expanding tax net will help increase the tax volume.
“Last year, I paid 25% income tax and this year it was raised to 30%. It seems the tax rate is increasing only for those, who pay tax regularly,” he said.
