A campus-based story-telling and film-making contest, participated by 10 different universities, has started from last Sunday. The program will continue for three months.
The contest titled, “Stop Not Golpo Chalao, Film Banao,” has been organised by the Perfetti Van Melle Bangladesh Pvt Limited, in association with Grey advertising Ltd. Participating universities include the stellar names line Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University, Brac University, North South University among others.
The organisers will visit each of the participating universities to collect stories from the students. Eventually, one story will be created by students of each university.
In the second phrase of the competition, teams from each university will make a film based on their story under direct supervision of the organisers. The 10 films made will be shown on channel i and on social media outlets, and the best team will be rewarded via sms voting.
“Stop Not Golpo Chalao, Film Banao,” was opened through a press conference held at the Spectra Convention Centre in Gulshan 1.
Grey managing director, Syed Gousul Azam, Sania Mahmood and Quazi junaid Ahmed, head of marketing and the trade marketing manager for Perfetti, along with Anisul Haque, the writer, were present in the press conference.
