An unidentified woman has been crushed under the wheels of a train at Analia Bari under Kalihati upazila of the district.
Station master of Bangabandhu Bridge east railway station, Abdul Mannan confirmed the death to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said a woman aged about 27 years was crushed under the wheels of Dhaka-bound train around 9am on Friday.
Police are on the way to recover the body from the spot, said the station master.
