Two Shibir activists were detained from in front of Chittagong Government Muslims High School in Chittagong city’s Kotwali area on Sunday noon.
The detainees were Asad Ullah, 25 and Asif Eqbal, 19.
Shah Mohammed Abdur Rauf, assistant commissioner (AC) of Kotwali circle of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) said police detained the duo from in front of the school gate suspecting their alleged involvement in recent subversive activities.
Police were interrogating the Shibir activists and legal process would be taken against them, added AC Rauf.
