A tourist has died at Sea-in point in Cox's Bazar sea beach while swimming.
Deceased Imtiaz Ahmed Mishu was the son of Giasuddin of Dinazpur and was an employee of Grameen Phone company.
The on-duty lifeguard in-charge Syed Nur said: “A group of tourists arrived at Boshoti resort on Friday. The victim drowned while swimming at Sea during a low-tide."
On-duty lifeguards quickly rescued the victim and rushed him to Cox's Bazar sadar hospital where he was declared dead by the on-duty doctor, he added.
