President Abdul Hamid has expressed deep shock at the death of noted classical folk music guru Ekushey Padak winner Pandit Ramkanai Das.
In a condolence message, the president said the nation has lost a famous folksong personality in his death.
He also prayed for the peace of the departed soul of Ramkanai and conveyed sympathy to members of the bereaved family, BSS reported.
