Two people have been killed in separate road accidents at Ashulia of Savar on Saturday.
The deceased are Khitish Chandra Sarker, 40, son of Manomohan hailed from Dendabari area and Babu, 22, son of Ashraf Hossain from Tangibari area of Savar.
Witnesses said a Dhaka bound bus hit Khitish at Nabinagar bus stand area while he was crossing the road, leaving him dead on the spot.
In another incident, a rashly driven bus rammed a rickshaw on Bipail-Abdullahpur highway leaving Babu dead on the spot and another injured.
The identity of the injured could not be known immediately.
Police on information recovered the bodies and sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Ashulia Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Badrul Alam endorsed the information to the Dhaka Tribune.
