The government has decided to keep the CNG stations across the country open for 24 hours from October 1 to 11 ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Road Transport Minister Obaidul Quader made the disclosure after an inter-ministerial meeting at Ramna Chinese Restaurant in the capital on Thursday afternoon.
Obaidul Quader said the decision was to ease the sufferings of home-bound people during the Eid.
He also said cattle markets will not be allowed to be set up on roads and highways to ensure uninterrupted movement of vehicles.
