The Bodhisattwa Trio, a band from Kolkata, will present two back to back jamming sessions this evening at Red Shift Cafe in Gulshan and Shadhona Cultural Circle in Banani.
The band’s line-up includes Bodhisattwa Ghosh on guitars and vocals, Premjit Dutta on drums and Bijit Bhattacharya on bass.
The Bodhisattwa Trio is a Jazz outfit that believes in the expression of unadulterated human feelings in the form of unrefined powerful sounds created with energy from deep within the human soul.
Drawing influences from musical ideas, musicians, feelings and experiences, the musicians deliver a mix of original songs as well as renditions of pieces written by legends who have inspired the band.
