The authorities of Jahangirnagar University have rescheduled its first year honours admission tests under 2014-15 academic year.
The admission tests will be held now from September 17 till 23.
Earlier, the admission tests were scheduled from September 13 till 25, source said on Wednesday.
The admission tests have been rescheduled on Wednesday at a meeting of university’s central admission test conduct committee, JU deputy registrar and admission test conduct committee’s secretary member Mohammad Ali told the Dhaka Tribune.
Earlier, the committee reduced the requirements to attend the admission tests and extended the deadline of registration following the movement of JU officers and employees over reducing admission tests’ requirements under the brood quota.
However, JU deputy registrar Mohammad Ali told that it would not play any influence on applicants and the admission tests as well.
The applicants who had done their registration according to previous requirements, their registration would remain valid under new requirements, he added.
New requirements of the admission tests including all details and full schedule are available on newspapers and university’s website: www.juniv.edu.
