The Chinese government will publish a book on the activities of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman during his visits to China in 1952 and 1957 in Chinese language.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jun made the disclosure when he paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office on Wednesday morning, reports BSS.
The envoy also informed the PM that they would also translate the book 'Asampta Atmajiboni' of Bangabandhu into Chinese language.
After the meeting, PM's Press Secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhury briefed reporters.
He said the Prime Minister thanked the Chinese government for its continued assistance in Bangladesh's socioeconomic advancement, especially in the infrastructure sector.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought more Chinese financial aid to build hunger and poverty-free Bangladesh, he also said.
Sheikh Hasina hoped that the bilateral relations between Dhaka and Beijing would be further strengthened.
The Chinese ambassador highly praised Bangladesh's stunning success in the socioeconomic field.
Li Jun said Chinese investment in Bangladesh would be boosted further.
