Khaleda arrives at court premises
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has arrived at the premisses of a makeshift court to appear before it in connection with Charitable Trust and Zia Orphanage Trust corruption cases.
She arrived in the court premiss around 1:10pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Gini made new whip
Mahbub Ara Begum Gini, the ruling party lawmaker from Gaibandha 2, has been appointed as the new whip of the 10th parliament.
Atiur Rahman Atik, another whip of the national parliament, has confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about the appointment.

Construction of Azimpur graveyard walls begins
The construction work of the boundary walls of Azimpur graveyard has been started under the supervision of the Lalbagh police.
In line with the High Court order, the Lalbagh police have taken the initiative to construct the boundary walls of the graveyard. Some 100 labourers started the construction work around 9am on Wednesday.

The government has decided to send more workers to Iraq, said the Expatriates' Welfare Minister, Khandker Mosharraf Hossain.
The minister said: “The government has decided to send workers to Iraq after getting confirmation of a safe and secure environment there.”
4 held with bombs in capital

At least 11 people have been killed and 18 others injured in a building collapse in Pakistan.
The incident took place when a three-storey building collapsed in Sindh province on Wednesday morning, reports Indian Express.
Obama increases US force protecting embassy in Baghdad
