Two youths killed in Gazipur road accident

Two youths including a sales representative of a pharmaceutical company were killed in a road accident at Targaon area on Dhaka-Kishorgonj highway under Kapasia upazila on Sunday night.

The victims were identified as Sultan Miah, 31, and Yakub ali, 32, a sales representative of Incepta pharmaceutical company.

Officer-in-Charge of Kapasia police station Ahsan Ullah said a cotton loaded truck was parked illegally at the eastern side of Fakir Majnu Shah bridge at Targaon area around 10pm on Sunday.

A motorcycle carrying two youths hit the truck from behind and skidded off the road, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. The bodies were sent to Gazipur sader hospital morgue.

However, police seized the truck, but the driver could manage to flee from the spot immediate after the accident.

Rois Uddin, the uncle of deceased Sultan filed a case with Kapasia police station in this connection.
