Three people, have been killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between a CNG-run auto rickshaw and a microbus at Saidpur under Nabiganj upzila in Habiganj.
The deceased are Maulana Mohammad Rezaul Karim, 24, of Kamalpur village, Kazi Syed, 90 and his son Imam Maulana Hafizur Rahman, 40, of Timirpur village.
A Sylhet-bound microbus collided head-on with an auto rickshaw at Saidpur on Friday afternoon, killing three on the spot and injuring others.
The injured have been sent to Sylhet Medical College Hospital.
Sheerpur highway police station Sub-Inspector Nazrul Islam said: “The bodies have been sent to morgue.”
