The duo has worked in approximately 40 films together giving rise to the question of them being a couple. Apu wants to wait five years before taking up the challenge of marriage, whereas Shakib plans on tying the knot in three years time. After the success of “Honeymoon,” Bappy and Mahiya Mahi have been labelled as the latest Dhallywood couple. The youngsters impressed the audience with their unbreakable connection onscreen and their casual ease with each other. The duo first came to prominence with “Bhalobashar Rong.” In only two years, the couple reached the peak of popularity which is rare phenomena in Dhallywood. It is said that they have been spotted together many times and rumour has it that they spend a lot of time phoning or texting each other. Mahi uploaded an album on her Facebook where she posted cosy pictures of her and Bappy. The album is titled “celebration of life.” Once, Bappy and Mahi were good friends, they only discovered their feelings for each other after spending quality time together.
Iftakar and Bobby
The couple is continuously complementing each other on the media and are working together in one project after another. Director Iftakar Chowdhury’s “Khoj: The Search” first saw the bold actress on big screen and his comment about her having the perfect height to star in the movie gave the diva the confident boost needed to carry out her role. Currently, Bobby is shooting for “Action Jasmine” directed by Iftakar.
