Customs officials have detained a person with gold bar weighing 7.3kg at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Friday morning.
The arrestee is as Al Amin, son of Basad Miah of Narayanganj, reports UNB.
Customs officials said acting on a tip off, a team of customs intelligence officials challenged Al Amin and recovered the gold bars worth Tk3.65 crore searching his luggage.
Al Amin arrived at the airport from Malaysia around 6am.
