13 Jamaat-Shibir men charged for Chittagong blast

Police have submitted charge sheet against 13 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir for their involvement in exploding crude bombs that left a school girl severely injured last year.

Investigation Officer in the case Sub-inspector Kamruzzaman placed the charge sheet before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Moshiur Rahman's court on Thursday afternoon.

Bodies of 3 Bangladeshis arrive in Dhaka

The bodies of three Bangladeshi construction workers who were killed when a concrete span collapsed at the Mass Rapid Transit work site in Sungai Buloh, Malaysia have arrived in Dhaka on Thursday morning.

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the bodies of Mohamad Faruk Khan, Mohammad Elahi Hossain and Mohammad Alauddin Mollik landed at the Shahjalal International Airport at 6:30am.

Hamas says in a text message sent to media that the three — Mohammed Abu Shamaleh, Mohammed Barhoum and Raed al-Attar — were killed in the Israeli airstrike near the southern town of Rafah early on Thursday.
