A man has been killed and one more injured when a train hit a pick-up van in Chittagong city gate area on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as pick-up van driver Md Sajib, 25.
The injured is pick-up van driver Md Jalal. He was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
The accident took place when Nasirabad express train hit the pick-up van while it was crossing the road in Baganbari rail crossing area in the port city at 6am, leaving two injured.
The injured were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where pick-up van helper Sajib was declared dead, said GRP police station SI Ohidul Islam.
