The pretty daughter of south stalwart Kamal Haasan is shaking a leg in the Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha starrer “Tevar.” The film, produced by Sanjay Kapoor and Boney Kapoor, features Shruti Haasan in an item song titled “Madamiya” (a rustic way of saying madam).
Going by the title, the song appears to be an earthy number with Shruti doing the sizzling jig in her hot avatar. Arjun Kapoor has already earned his stripes as a dancer (remember “Chhokra Jawan?”) and he will show some more of his groovy moves in “Madamiya.”
“Tevar” is directed by Amit Sharma and has been shot majorly in Agra. Interestingly, Arjun Kapoor plays the role of a young Kabbadi player in the film.
The movie is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster “Okkadu.” The Bollywood version has Sonakshi Sinha playing the female lead opposite Arjun Kapoor. Manoj Bajpayee plays a pivotal role. Tevar will release in January next year.
