Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said the government was set to take tough measures to check leakage of question papers in all public examinations.
"We are taking bold initiatives collectively by involving all ministries, organisations and agencies concerned to prevent question paper leakage," he told reporters after an inter-ministerial meeting here, an official release said.
Education Secretary Dr Mohammad Sadique, Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Prof Fahima Khatun, Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Prof Taslima Begum and senior officials and representatives of different organisations, among others attended the meeting.
The minister said the government is working to incorporate tougher provision by amending the existing law to stop question paper leakage.
He urged the officials and employees concerned to work with honesty and sincerity to prevent question paper leakage to ensure congenial atmosphere in the educational arena.
