Police took a local journalist into custody with 15,000 Yaba pills in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar yesterday.
Teknaf police station Officer-in-Charge Moktar Hossain said police arrested Abu Bakkar Al Masud, 30, a correspondent of the daily Samudra Barta. The OC said the detainee was top Yaba smuggler and hundi businessman.
