The rail communication of Sylhet with Dhaka and Chittagong has been resumed after the repair work of the slippers near Amirganj station in Raipura of Narshingdi on Thursday afternoon.
Golam Nabi Mia, station master of Amirganj railway station, said: “The rail communication of Sylhet with Dhaka and Chittagong has been resumed around 2pm.”
Earlier in the day, the rail communication was cut off after some slippers on the line near Amirganj station in Raipura of Narshingdi were displaced because of excessive rain.
