The New Zealand government has invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to visit the country early next year.
The invitation came from a sidelines meeting between New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully and his Bangladesh counterpart Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali in the Myanmar capital, reports BSS.
They were attending the ASEAN Regional Forum Meeting held in NayPiTaw on August 9-10.
Issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
Both the ministers agreed to further widen and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
