Beautiful and fashionable music diva Shakila Zafar is performing today at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Gulshan at 6:30pm.
A seasoned singer, Shakila received training on classical music from Ustad Yasin Khan from her early years and, later she took lessons on Nazrul Giti from Ustad Mithun Dey.
After gaining popularity through her appearance in a BTV organised programme “Jodi Kichu Mone Na Koren” in 1983, she has been one of the prominent figures of the music industry for the last 30 years.
The versatile singer is an expert both in contemporary and traditional genre and can keep a crowd well interested with her lively performance onstage.
