4 die in Sirajganj boat capsize, 20 missing

Four people have been killed and 20 others gone missing in a boat capsize in the Jamuna River in Chouhali upazila of Sirajganj on Thursday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, Chouhali police station Officer-in-Charge Shamsul Haque told the Dhaka Tribune.

RMG workers’ hunger strike enters third day

Around 1,200 workers of four garment factories of Tuba Group have been continuing hunger strike programme for the third consecutive day in the capital, demanding their unpaid salaries and allowance.

On Thursday, at least 10 workers have fallen sick due to the hunger strike, reports a private TV channel.
