Chittagong district administration and Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) have organised 254 Eid congregations in the port city and the district’s 14 upazilas on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The CCC manages 158 Eid congregations while Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat Committee of the district administration arranged 96 jamaats in the district.
The main and first Eid jamaat in the city will be held at Jamiatul Falah Masjid gound in the city’s WASA area at 8:15am while another jamaat will be held in the same venue 8:45am.
The Eid jamaat in the Laldighi ground, organised by Laldighi Jame Masjid, will be held at around 8:30am while the Eid jamaats in Bakalia City Corporation Stadium will held at around 8:00am and Jalalabad Arefinnagar City Corporation Central Graveyard Jame Mashjid will be held at around 8:15am.
Apart from those, rest of the jamaats under the supervision of CCC will be held in the city’s 41 wards.
Furthermore, the prime Eid jamaat of Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat Committee will be held at Gymnasium ground of MA Aziz Stadium at around 8:30am
Except this, other 95 Eid jamaats will be held in the upazilas of the district, he said.
