Ami-e Chirangada
Mim will be seen as Rabindranath Tagore’s epic charactaer Chitrangada in the telefilm “Ami-e Chirangada” which will be aired at 11:20pm on Maasranga TV on the second day of Eid. Directed by Ruman Runi and scripted by Matia Banu Shuku, the play is an adaptation of Tagore’s dance drama Chitrangada. Excited to work in a play based on Tagore’s literature, Mim said: “For the last few months, I avoided signing for TV plays. But I said yes to this particular one because of the unique dramatisation of the dance drama and the beautiful representation of the character.” The director explained about the drama: “Here, the audience will find Chitrangada in the context of recent time. It’s an adaptation without changing the main philosophy of Tagore’s Chitrangada.” The play also features popular actors Shabnam Parveen, Mahmudul Hasan Mithu, Sojol, Farjana Labony and many others.
Bhalobashar Ek Phota Jol
On the third day of Eid, telefilm “Bhalobashar Ek Phota Jol” will be aired on ATN Bangla at 3:05pm. Written by Mohon Khan, the drama features Riaz, Rumana, Tanvir, Samina, Shashi and Zakir. A frustrated Riaz who is a hooligan and a miscreant decides to surrender to the police after being chased by them for a length of time. But before he gives himself up, he decides to spend four days only for himself on his terms. For the last time, he loots a passer-by and goes to Cox’s Bazaar. He spends as if there is no tomorrow and stumbles upon Rumana, who is also there on holiday. On a whim, Riaz tells her about his troubled life and confess that if he had the love of a woman then he would not have chosen the life of crime. He also tells her about his plans to surrender. Rumana falls for him and Riaz is overjoyed. But after a while, his resolution to hand himself over to the police is weakened as he refuses to let go of her. Riaz is faced with the challenge of choosing a life in prison over love.
Vitamin T
Airtel presents telefilm “Vitamin T” on the third day of Eid. The drama will be telecast on NTV at 11:30pm. Here “T” suggests Taka. The story revolves around four friends who come across a large amount of money by chance. Right after their discovery, problems arise among them and many humourous incidents take place. The telefilm is made by Shafayet Mansur Rana. Actors Tariq Anam Khan, Mishu Sabbir, Aparna, Salman, Sayem and others acted in the drama.
Backdated
Telefilm “Backdated” features a wealthy and privileged Apurbo who lives the unrestrained party lifestyle, living it up with his girlfriend Sarika in town. The telefilm will be aired on NTV at 2:35pm on the second day of Eid. Through a series of incidents, the young Romeo gets in touch with his cultural roots, and becomes what he once thought of as a “backdated” person. This is the story of telefilm “Backdated,” written and directed by Apurbo himself, addressing what he believes to be “the moral degradation” of the present generation, while extolling the practical and emotional values of the culture of our society where family bond is the first priority.
Bisha Dakat
Zahid Hasan plays the title role of comedy “Bisha Dakat” which will be aired on Mohona TV on Eid day at 8pm.
Here Bisha Dakat is a notorious dacoit of a village. Every night he loots houses of the rich people of neighbouring villages. While conducting operation in such a house, he meets a beautiful girl, played by Ahana. He falls in love with the girl at first sight while she simply despises him on sight. He then tries to win her heart and his profession becomes the main obstacle.
Real Murder Story
Telefilm “Real Murder Story” will be aired on Channel 9 on Eid day at 2:35pm. Written by Pankaj Roni and directed by Matiya Banu Shukhu, the telefilm will star Tarin, Intekar Dinar and Shushma Sarkar. The telefilm tells the story of a couple who live away from the hustle of the city. Samir Arefin is a writer and his wife Meher is a school teacher. Samir wants to write a murder mystery, but is unable to do so. After Meher leaves for her mother’s house Samir settles down to write when Shuborna calls. At one time he was in love with her, but she didn’t marry him due to his careless attitude. Samir invites her over to discuss why she called him. She tells him that she needs 50 thousand taka and threatens him that if he doesn’t give her the money, she’ll send all their letters to Meher. He tries to convince her against it. When he returns from the kitchen, he finds her unconscious and takes this opportunity to strike her on the head, which ultimately kills her.
