Police have recovered 150 sacks full of Lebanon made fake Triple Super Phosphate (TSP) fertilizer at Walia bazar of Lalpur upazila in the district on Friday afternoon.
Police also arrested the seller of the fake fertilizer from the spot.
The arrestee was identified as Moazzem Hossein, son of Shafi Uddin Pramanik.
Masud Karim, in-charge of Walia police camp, said a team of walia police and upazila agriculture office jointly conducted raid at the bazar area around 4:15pm.
The fake TSP fertilizer's sacks were recovered from M/S Abdur Rahman enterprise and arrested the seller, said Masud Karim.
