Talented actor Sajal, who has recently shared about his Eid releases with the Dhaka Tribune said that he will be seen in several teleplays this Eid. Sajal has portrayed an antagonist in “Ghunpoka,” which has been directed by Sakhawat Manik and will be aired on Maasranga TV at 11:30pm on the sixth day of Eid. “I have portrayed a man who pretends to love a woman, but in reality doesn’t love her,” said Sajal.
Sajal further informed that he has worked with a number of well-known directors this Eid like Taher Shipan, Sokal Ahmed, Rahamatullah Tuhin, Aranya Imon, Sakhawat Manik, Roman Rumee, Sokal Ahmed, S A Haque Alik, and others. According to him it is a director who can bring out an extraordinary outcome from an average script and that he is also selective about directors.
The actor is excited about his upcoming film Tanmoy Tansen’s “Run Out,” which will be released on Eid-ul-Azha. “I have embodied the role of a common man who accidentally gets involved in a crime.” Here he will be seen as Moushumi Nag’s counterpart.
Sajal also shared his Eid plans and reveals that he never shops for Eid. “For shooting purposes I have to shop a lot all year round and find it unnecessary to shop for Eid,” said Sajal, who informed that he will be out of the country this Eid as he will be performing in a show organised by the Bangladeshi expatriates in Qatar.
“When I celebrate Eid in the country, I generally spend the day sleeping after coming from namaz (prayer) and visit my grandmother’s home in the evening,” said the actor.
Sajal, who always looks for variety said that he would love to portray a physically handicapped person to further experiment with his image in the industry.
“Few years back I did a role of a mute man; however, I want to do more roles like this as enacting such challenging characters are what an actor look for after he has done enough stereotypical roles,” he said.
