RAB 11 ASP Shahriar has started giving testimony before the probe body formed by the public administration ministry over the abductions and killings of seven people in Narayanganj.
The probe body led by additional secretary of the ministry Shahjahan Ali Mollah is recording testimony of the RAB official that started around 2pm.
As per the High Court directive, the public administration ministry has constituted a seven-member probe body to look into the alleged involvement of RAB officials in this regard.
The seven people were abducted on April 27. Later their bodies surfaced in the Shitalakkhya River. Autopsy reports said they were murdered by professionals.
The family members of Nazrul alleged that RAB 11 Commanding Officer Lt officials along with the Narayanganj superintendent of police and the deputy commissioner.
Following the allegations, the AFD sent Lt Col Tareq Sayeed Mohammad and Major Arif on premature retirement from the Army and Lt Commander SM Masud Rana on forced retirement from the Navy.
All the three RAB officials have confessed their involvement in the seven murder in Narayanganj.
On April 28, the authorities concerned had withdrawn all the three RAB-11 officials along with the Narayanganj superintendent of police and the deputy commissioner.
