Bogra 7 constituency MP Advocate Md Altaf Ali has been injured in a road accident on Bangabandhu Bridge in Sirajganj on Wednesday afternoon.
MP's demestic help identified as Ayna Begun, 55, has been killed and four relatives of the MP have been injured in the accident, Bangabandhu Bridge West Zone Officer-in-Charge Aminul Islam told the Dhaka Tribune.
A bus collided head-on with a microbus on the western part of the bridge, killing Ayna on the spot and injuring five family members of the MP, Aminul said.
He said: “The injured, including the MP, have been admitted to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital.”
