Three people have been run over by a train in Noapara rail station under Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj on Tuesday night.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Noapara rail station officer Mominul Haq has confirmed about the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
“Three people were run over by a Chittagong bound Udayan Express train from Sylhet on Tuesday night,” Haq said.
On information, Sayestaganj rail police rushed to the spot in the morning and recovered the bodies from the spot.
“The deceased hailed from Noapara village,” Noapara Union Parishad Chairman Syed Mohammad Alamgir told the Dhaka Tribune.
