Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Administration has recommended to find out the alternative merit-based method to ongoing MCQ method in BCS preliminary test.
The recommendation came from the third meeting of the committee held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its chairman HN Ashequr Rahman in the chair on Tuesday.
The committee also discussed the activities, especially examination and appointment systems of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).
Committee members ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, Sukumar Ranjan Ghosh, Mohammad Abdullah, Mostafa Lutfullah and Khorshed Ara Haque attended the meeting, among others.
