Thirty more Bangladeshi nationals have returned home from war-torn Iraq under the initiative of the government.
They have arrived home in the evening by an Air Arabia flight from Erbil airport in Iraq, a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this on Tuesday, reports BSS.
The Bangladeshi nationals were stranded at Tikrit and Mosul in distressed conditions since the outbreak of hostilities in Iraq, the release said.
Bangladesh Embassy in Iraq coordinated the repatriation of these Bangladeshi workers, it added.
