Sylhet's rail communication with Dhaka and Chittagong has been resumed after four hours.
Abdur Razzak, station master of Sylhet railway station, said the rail link was restored around 1:40pm.
Railway communication of Sylhet with Dhaka and Chittagong was suspended after a compartment of an oil-carrying wagon derailed at Moghlabazar area near Sylhet railway station around 9:30am.
On information, relief trains from Sylhet and Kulaura salvaged the derailed compartments.
