Dr Syed Saad Andaleeb has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of BRAC University in the capital. The university’s board of trustees confirmed his appointment recently. He took office on Sunday.
Dr Andaleeb was Distinguished Professor of Marketing at the Sam and Irene Black School of Business in Pennsylvania State University. He completed his PhD in business administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a BS in chemical engineering and MBA at the University of New Hampshire.
