Deputy British High Commissioner at Bangladesh, Nick Low has said the expenditure and time period for processing Visa for Bangladeshi applicant will be the same.
He expressed this at an Iftar party arranged by British High Commission of Dhaka, in Sylhet .
British government had transferred the procedure for the applicant of Bangladesh for the Point based system (PBS) and PBS development to India on 8th July.
Under the new system Bangladeshi applicants have to process their visa from New Delhi, India.
Through a response of Sylhet City mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury Nick low said in Latin America they have been processing all the application from one country.
City mayor expressed his concern about the decision of British government and feared that it might cause suffering for the people of Bangladesh.
Not only Bangladeshi applicants but also the applicants from Srilanka will also be processed in Delhi, Nick added.
Police commissioner Mizanur Rahman, District Commissioner Shahidul Islam, president of Sylhet press club Iqbal Siddique and British High commission consular Hasina rahman were among others in the Iftar party.
